Ice board blades – long board (blades only)

For those of you who are lucky to live in the northerly portions of the world, we have a perfect solution for Wingskating on ice.
When the lakes freeze and you’re still looking for fun on the ice, here you go.

Ice Board Blades:
Take an existing Longboard skateboard and take off the wheels and add these blades.
You’ll have an instant Ice Board for Wingskating.

These ice board blades are all custom made right here in the US (WI) by Paul Cooley with Northwindice.
Sold exclusively through Kiteriders.

Through the years, we’ve found that most all long board skateboards, use the same axle thickness and width.
This is a pretty early plug and play situation.

Common Questions:

1. Can I use my existing longboard skateboard.  Yes….most all use the same axle width and thickness.
2. Does this come with the board?  No. This particular item is just for the blades.  We usually have long boards in stock from Magneto, but we’re currently out of stock.
3. If I don’t have a board, what do I do?  You can go online or to a store and grab any longboard skateboard.
4. What are the axle dimensions so I can check just in case?  Axle width is 1 inch.  Axle thickness is 5’16 of on inch.
5. Does it have to be a longboard?  Yes…shorter skateboards for riding in skateparks, etc., can be very skittish at higher speeds on ice.
6. I don’t know anything about skateboards.  About what size should I look for?  Something around 40″ or longer.  It seems most longboards come in around 42 inches give or take a little.
7. What’s included?  Included are 4 precisely machined set of blades.
