Ice board blades – MBS Style skateboard (blades only)

For those of you who are lucky to live in the northerly portions of the world, we have a perfect solution for WING SKATING on ice.
When the lakes freeze and you’re still looking for fun on the ice, here you go.

MBS Style Ice Board Blades:
Take an existing MBS skateboard and take off the wheels and add these blades.
You’ll have an instant Ice Board for WING SKATING.

VIP:

1. MBS boards may have different axle thicknesses.
2. These blades work with 3/8″ diameter axle.
3. 1.5″ is the length of the axle from the nut to the main body of the axle.
4. 3’8″ X 1.5″ (stem for blades)
5. We also sell the MBS boards (very limited quantities)

These ice board blades are all custom made right here in the US (WI) by Paul Cooley with Northwindice.

Common Questions:

1. Can I use my existing longboard skateboard.  Yes, if you have an MBS style skateboard with the same axle width and thickness.
2. Do blades come with the board?  No. This particular item is just for the blades.  We usually have boards in stock if needed.
3. If I don’t have a board, what do I do?  We are now stocking boards.
4. What are the axle dimensions so I can check just in case?  Axle width is 1.5 inch.  Axle thickness is 5/8 of an inch.  1.5″ x 5/8″.
5. What if my MBS axle has different dimensions?  Contact us asap and we can custom make a set that will work.  The price will be a little higher.
6. Does it have to be a longboard?  Yes…shorter skateboards for riding in skateparks, etc., can be very skittish at higher speeds on ice.
7. I don’t know anything about skateboards.  About what size should I look for?  Something around 40″ or longer.  It seems most longboards come in around 42 inches give or take a little.
8. What’s included?  Included are 4 precisely machined set of blades.
